Timesheet Management Configuration

Timesheet Management is provided since Minyaa 2.2 :

  • this feature is only supported for JIRA 4.0.x and over,
  • the User Interface is done as Gadget (Plugin V2), did not have been downgraded a Portlet,
  • then no available for JIRA 3.13.x.

What is it?

The problem you need to solve: Have the ability to see my logged work and allows managers to perform timesheet reviews.

As User, you need
  • To see what is your activity for a specified period ?
  • To know easely where you have spent time depending any attribute of Issue or Worklog ?
As Manager, you need
  • To be notified when all work has been logged by a team member for a period,
  • To be able to validate any of his logged work,
  • To notify that he has to review a logged work,
  • To be able to identify quickly the status (Initied, Submitted, ...) of Timesheets of each of you Team''s members.
How Minyaa solves this problem: In order to benefit of all features already provided by JIRA, Minyaa implements its Timesheet Management using the existing concepts (Project, Issue, Workflow ...).

    • a status will be applied to the Worklog item (Supported statuses are : Created, To validate, To review, Validated),
    • the Worklog item wil be linked to a Timesheet item, represented by an issue in the dedicated project (Issue Type Timesheet),
